Living in New York, we’ve endured a long winter until this week. The shift to spring has piqued my curiosity in the exclusive and limited Spring Fashion Trends. This season, it’s all about the unique blend of styling, featuring vibrant colors, wide-leg jeans, and patent leather skirts or vinyl jackets. Uncover the three spring 2024 trends that are already causing a stir among New Yorkers.

Patent Leather Skirts or Vinyl Jackets

Designer’s Spring Summer 2024 fashion shows showcased patent leather jackets to skirts, including Gucci, Prada, and Miu Miu. Gucci’s shiny leather skirts and jackets from Gucci Spring Summer 2024 collection, Gucci Ancora, are all sold out. I could recently find a red patent faux leather skirt from J.Crew and have worn it a lot more than I expected to – the color feels a bit more interesting than a classic color but styles up a regular jean shirt. Here I am sharing a couple of vinyl fashion pieces from my favorite brands.

Wide Leg Jeans and Baggy Pants

Wide leg jeans dominated the fall and winter, but as we’ve turned the corner into spring, we will see it’s trending more. It’s not denim but light and lightweight, such as linen wide and wide-leg. Helsa has the comfiest cotton poplin stripe pajama pants or if you are looking for high end fabrics such as  silk Burberry has striped high-rise silk wide-leg pants.  I like combining baggy pants with feminine tops, such as recently with an off-shoulder top. You can pair the wide leg pants with white shirts, button-downs, short leather jackets, or long trench coats.  Here I’m sharing  a couple of wide leg jeans and baggy pants from my favorite brands.

Colorful Sneakers

Adidas Sambas are still in style, but instead of the regular black and white Sambas, there is a trend on wearing colorful sneakers as a bold touch to everyday outfits. I recently styled my panther print mini dress with red Adidas Samba shoes paired with red socks. There are some other statement sneakers, such as the new Adidas SL 72 or a bold color Handball Spezial shoes, that are on my wishlist for spring.
