Even though I usually go for lighter jackets, I couldn’t resist cozying up in a teddy winter coat during my recent winter getaway in New York City. I had the best time bundling up as I hit the holiday markets and snapped pics for the gram in my hotel room mirror.
I paired my long white teddy coat with casual go-tos – a simple white tee, distressed jeans, and black leather ankle boots. I styled the outfit with my favorite black quilted Chanel bag for that classic touch. This outfit was both fashionable and functional for braving the cold northeast temperatures. Between the icy temperatures and festive displays, I felt like I was in a real-life snow globe!
Teddy bear coats and textures are dominating winter coat trends this year.
My NYC trip got me thinking about other fuzzy styles for winter, and I wanted to share a few of my fab finds to elevate your winter wardrobe. The Frankie Shop’s rich chocolate brown Joni coat has been calling our name with its charm and oversized coziness. For days when we need to brace grey skies and slushy streets, Costarellos’ Margot faux fur coat in black would be perfection. For those of you tempted by fuzzy shearling, Jacquemus’ La Veste Piobbu coat with an oversized furry collar made from two contrasting shearling textures. I really liked the elongated cuffs and curved side pockets. You’ll be wearing it on repeat all season!
